Stags End House, Hemel Hempstead, Hertfordshire
A watching brief in an area of two detached garages. This was Icknield Archaeology's first project which turned out to be a one day event with only late 19th century deposits being identified. The house, or rather mansion, has a pleasing vista towards the Ver valley to its east.
